Changes in U.S. Customs from 29th August 2025

Upcoming Changes to U.S. Import Duties

Overview

Starting 29 August 2025, the U.S. government is introducing changes to import rules that will affect all orders entering the United States. These changes may impact how your orders are processed and delivered.

What’s Changing

  • The $800 duty-free threshold will be removed.
  • All parcels shipped to the U.S. will now be subject to customs duties and taxes.
  • The amount of duty charged will depend on:
    • The product’s HS code
    • The country of manufacture

What This Means for You

  • Our products shipped to the U.S. will now incur additional import duties.
  • These duties may need to be paid before delivery.
  • Initially, customers will be required to pay these charges directly in order to receive their order.
  • We are working on alternative solutions to simplify this process in the future.

What We’re Doing to Help

We’re actively working with our logistics partners to reduce the impact of these changes:

  • Exploring alternative import options into the U.S., including shipping via Royal Mail (solution still under development).
  • Providing clear and transparent updates so you know what to expect before placing an order.
