What is meant by 'image resolution' or image quality?

Image resolution determines the detail, clarity and quality of your printed item.

The resolution of an image is determined by the number of pixels it contains. As a general rule, the higher the pixel count, the better the image quality.

A high resolution image will result in a high quality print, while a low resolution image may result in a lower quality print. For this reason, we ask customers to upload the best image resolution possible when designing their customised garments.

In general, you should try and upload the best image quality possible to ensure the best results. We recommend a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch, otherwise known as pixels per inch)

If you upload an image that is too low quality to print or embroider, our team will contact you to discuss how best to proceed. Other companies may just process your order and produce garments that don't live up to expectations, but at Clothes2order we check every order to ensure it will look as good as possible.
